Who We Are

Sedona is my passion. After 35 years in and around Sedona, I have begun to know this special place. I say “begun” because quite possibly I am only scratching the surface. To really know the people, the land, and the delicate vibration of this place takes time and involvement. When I arrived, 89A was two lanes with dirt shoulders on each side, Tlaquepaque had just opened, and you only had to dial five numbers for any local phone number. The “Y” was a stop sign, not a traffic light....

I have been on the Net since 1995. One of my sayings is, “ If they had not invented the internet, I would have”. I appreciate information and realize its value for residents and visitors alike. This website represents my aspiration to assist anyone who wants to become familiar with Sedona’s many facets: information on businesses, activities, history, the brilliant healing human touch present, the surrounding red rocks, and the daily contacts a person needs to navigate the area.

As a Jeep tour guide for 15 years I answered thousands of questions and spent hundreds of hours learning about the area and its nature, the businesses, and who’s who. Exploring every canyon and cliff, caring for the landscape with shovel and garbage bag, and sharing a common concern for Sedona’s environment has focused my energies for years.

There are many different worlds present in Sedona.
I invite you to sample them all.....

Our Mission

Years ago I dreamt of creating a website that would become the Yahoo of Sedona, a fantastic compendium of everything Sedona has to offer. The end result is this site, SedonaInformation.com. It represents my personal view of Sedona in respect to the website reviews and descriptive information. The names, addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and Email contacts are kept as current and accurate as possible. I hate broken web links; they tax the web.

I strive to be totally comprehensive and all-inclusive concerning the listings in each category: every business and individual in Sedona gets listed according to the categories I display, not just paid listings as on most websites. Inevitably I make mistakes. If you find a mistake, let me know and I will correct it as quick as possible. If an apology is due, you’ll get that, too.

How We Get Paid

Local advertisers pay the bills and keep me on the Sedona information path. I keep my advertising to a minimum using the single ad per section “Sponsor” system. No flash ads, strobes, or large, painful billboards will ever dilute these pages. You’ll even notice there are no ads running down the side of pages and never will be. My bookstore uses Amazon for most book, map, and video sales. This generates commission income that also helps the cause.
