Plan on camping at least one night if you visit. The southern entrance is passable by normal cars as long as you have a bit of clearance, drive slowly, and avoid rainy conditions. It makes Chaco’s access much quicker from I – 40 to the south. The 3-D model on this website took its creators approximately three years of sporadic work to assemble.
