The Jerome Times
www.jerometimes.com

Great place to catch the latest happenings on Mingus mountain. Started in the early 1980’s and still going. Good classified section with houses for sale, rooms for rent, and local services plus a quirky Rumor Mill page where you can enter your own gossip and start a riot.

You can read the interesting perspective of the 1,250 member Yavapai-Apache nation, the native people of the Verde Valley, in this online PDF version of their newspaper.

Red Rock News

This is the newspaper to read for Sedona news. I most enjoy the Police Blotter section, letters to the editors, and the editorials. Red Rock News has been around for over 40 years and through continual facelifts and remodels has become an award-winning small town newspaper. It’s published twice weekly and has the best selection of local Sedona advertisements. The yard sale and estate sale section makes my day when I feel like checking out the wide array of unusual and high-quality items that Sedona residents feel compelled to sell at sometimes ridiculously inexpensive prices.

The local crazy, satirical newspaper where "No News Is Good News".

Sedona Red Rock Review

Sedona, AZ 86336

Free. This my favorite Sedona info newspaper because it has opinionated articles by people who obviously have
something to say: Ivan Finley, an ex-mayor and insightful examiner of Sedona goings-on really knows how to bring situations to light in great detail yet with simplicity; Paul Chevalier, who came on board a few years ago, is the chairman of the Sedona Art and Cultural Commission and gives thoughtful study to Sedona issues through the heart and mind of a Harvard-schooled attorney and businessman. Billed as " Sedona's events, issues and information guide", the Review truly lives up to its byline. The Review also includes a real estate insert with every issue that is one of the most comprehensive in its Sedona and Verde Valley coverage.

"Local news from all points of view". The Sedona-Verde Valley Times is a new publication that has been a long time coming. Publisher and brilliant mind Rita Livingston has been a Sedona resident for many years. I met her at Jimmy Jean's Sedona Coffee Roasters many years ago and had a few exciting discussions with her over the years that followed whenever we would cross paths there. Several times I merely sat at the edge of a larger discussion listening intently as Rita and other locals moved deep into some important subject. Rita is always on the subject at hand with plenty of understanding of all sides of the issue. She has what Buddhists call 'Panoramic Awareness" and her publication reflects this. Join her and her dedicated staff for divergent viewpoints on pertinent issues as well as insightful columns by local writers like Sarah McLean, Rose Moon, Doug Blackwell, and David Keeber. Finally!
