Don and Nita Hoel have amassed one of the finest collections of Native American jewelry, pottery, and kachinas in the world. Their amazing jewelry store in Oak Creek Canyon is located aprroximately ten miles north of Sedona on Hwy 89A. Their jewelry store opened in the 1970’s and is still operated by members of the family. Don Hoel’s Cabins and tiny general store, Oak Creek Canyon landmarks since 1945, are located nearby.

Humiovi means “the Seedling” in the Hopi language. Bob and Ann Robinson own this quality Native American jewelry and collectible store which is licensed by the Hopi tribe. It stands out as one of Uptown’s oldest, most affordable, and totally authentic sources for Indian jewelry, Kachinas, sand paintings, and much more. My wife and I bought our wedding rings here. Both were crafted by Scotty Skeets, a gifted Navajo silver and goldsmith who crafts an intricate gold “cutout” technique as an overlay on silver. Wherever we travel we get admiring comments on these rings and I recommend the Humiovi without reservation (no pun intended). The store employees are professionals in their field.
