Curt Pfeffer has been a master jeweler and lapidary artisan for over 38 years, about the time he has lived in the Verde Valley. His gold pieces are legendary and show up around the globe. With his partner Sharon he has owned and operated Aurum for over 15 years. Mutual Jerome friends who moved to Bali a decade ago have beautiful one-of-a-kind Balinese art pieces and Nepalese jewelry on display at Aurum. Hundreds of other Northern Arizona jewelers and artists are represented, too, in this small, well-organized and peaceful space. Earrings, bracelets, belt buckles, custom knives, bolo ties, Huichol beeswax and yarn art, rings, bronzes, marble, and oil paintings complement Aurum’s fascinating displays. Curt specializes in custom wedding rings, however be prepared to wait; his clients are many.
