This is the creative team of Sergio A. Martinez, Jr. and Terry Trujillo. Sergio is an accomplished AIA architect with over 30 years of design and architectural experience. Terry is an amazing artist: he has an international flair and design sensibility, is skilled at pencil sketching, practices as a designer of utilitarian objects like cat scratch towers, and ranks as a stunning flower arranger in the Ikebana tradition. His architectural design has won awards. No surprise there, take a look at Pink Jeep Plaza in Uptown Sedona and marvel at the old-world meets Southwest cliffside motif. TRU-DESIGNS’ website reflects their simple and tasteful design philosophy. I’ve paged through the site from top to bottom and would certainly choose them for any serious architectural design, be it residential or commercial. Terry’s upbringing in France and New Mexico definitely heightened his ability to bring subtle touches of charm to his work and find the perfect solution for each project based upon its own merit, the actual physical site, and its individual setting.
