Aurum Jewelry
369 Main Street, Jerome, AZ 86331 928.634.3330
928.634.3330 Curt Pfeffer and Sharon own and operate a store that specializes in jewelry. So why is it in this category? I’ll tell you. They also carry imported antique decorations from Bali, Nepal, and other Southeast Asia locations primarily supplied by a mutual Jeroman friend who moved to Bali 18 years ago. I have watched this store grow from humble beginnings into one of the finest of its kind anywhere, from Santa Fe to Aspen. Have you ever seen a human skull goblet from Nepal, Buddhist devotional embroidered mandala, Tantric art, or Balinese ceremonial masks? Curt is a master goldsmith and stone cutter. In addition to Curt’s own work, Aurum represents dozens of local craft people’s lapidary art and jewelry. Jerome is a well-respected art community comprised of a mere 400 residents and Sharon and Curt’s store is one of its landmarks. Knife collectors get ready. In addition to imported ceremonial blades, there are many fine handmade knives created by local southwestern artisans. Make sure to check out the Winged Lady bronze taking up the largest space on the wall. It’s a mindblower.
