Feather Jones is a practicing herbalist, gentle wildcrafter, and medicine maker. She holds a certificate from the Santa Fe College of Natural Medicine as a clinical herbalist and founded/directed the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies for 11 years. Her Vortex and Herb Walks combine the healing energy of Sedona Vortexes with the learning adventure of local edible and medicinal plant identification and use. Her hikes are highly customized to your individual needs and range from 2 hours to half-day. She also teaches a variety of classes focusing upon the identification, preparation, and medicinal use of plants and herbs. She is a well-respected healer using the green world as her vehicle for helping others.
As a Clinical Herbalist, I completely believe in the body’s ability to come back to wholeness. Long before pharmaceutical companies offered us “health” in a pill, we had Mother Nature’s pharmacy. She is still here to offer us her bounty. I create a safe healing space for my clients to step into and I merely facilitate the healing that their bodies already know. I have watched as clients get relief from issues such as depression, high cholesterol, digestive distress, emotional trauma, migraines, PMS, menstrual irregularity, and the hard to handle symptoms of menopause. In our consultation, you can tell me your story and we’ll look closely at lifestyle, stress management, and diet to come up with your unique path back to wellness. I believe in using organically grown or ethically-harvested herbs in my specifically designed formulas and teas. A happy planet means happy humans.
